Columbia, Missouri Attorney
Bill Rotts was born in 1952 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is a graduate of Missouri Western University where he earned his degrees in Economics and Business Management in 1970. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1982. He achieved the honor of being selected as the Smith N. Crowe scholar in International Law. He has achieved a BV rating with Martindale Hubbell.
He is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri and in the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. He has been accepted by the Eastern and Western Missouri Courts of Appeal, the Missouri Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Bill has tried hundreds of cases to the court, over 75 jury trials, and has advanced many cases to the Supreme Court of Missouri. He is experienced within administrative tribunals in both Missouri and out of state.
He has represented hundreds of clients and continues to serve clients throughout the state. He has devoted his life and 35-year legal career to working with and helping injury victims and those used and abused by insurance carriers and big corporations.
Outside of the office, Bill is an avid motorcyclist and outdoorsman. He manages his farm for environmental sustainability and restoration. He supports alternative energy development and sustainable community agriculture.
